TYLOO and Grayhound are the latest teams confirmed for the PLG Grand Slam, next month.
The Chinese team accepted an invitation to feature at the event in Abu Dhabi, while the Australian side booked their spot in the tournament after topping the Oceanic qualifier with a 2-0 victory over ORDER in the final.
This will be the last of three events before the turn of the year for TYLOO, who will also attend the Toyota Master Bangkok, next week, and the SuperNova CS:GO Malta, at the end of the month. The Chinese team peaked at 10th in the ranking in August after reaching the New Legends Stage of the FACEIT Major but cut a frustrating figure at their next event, StarSeries i-League Season 6, where they went out in the Swiss stage with a 1-3 record.
The victory in the Oceanic qualifier comes as a timely boost for Grayhound, who will be looking to secure a spot at the Asia Minor via the region's closed qualifier, which will kick off on Sunday. Erdenetsogt "erkaSt" Gantulga's side were last seen at the ESL Australia & NZ Championship Season 7 Finals, where they finished second to Chiefs.
The PLG Grand Slam will run from December 13-15, with $100,000 on the line. The team list for the event currently looks as follows:
